TASTE: Mild, slightly nutty, sweet, very reminiscent of beetroot, with an earthy flavor reminiscent of mustard but with much less spice and a delicate grassy finish.
NUTRITION: Amaranth microgreens are rich in Vitamin K, Vitamin C, and iron, which are crucial for blood clotting, immune function, and red blood cell production, respectively. They also contain protein, essential for tissue repair. They are loaded with vitamins A, C, K, and folate, vital for supporting a robust immune system, promoting healthy vision, benefit heart health and aiding in cell growth and repair.
USAGE: Add over salmon, pasta, in sandwiches, served over quinoa, or mixed in salad. They are best left undressed and added only at the very final stage of finishing a dish.
