Born in Puerto Rico, raised in New Jersey and relocated to Charlotte Metropolitan area nearly 10 years ago, Amy’s skills in backyard farming has evolved and developed wherever she lived. Amy’s love of farming is inspired by her family’s rich heritage of growing their own organic food, reaping it from farm to her family’s table.  With Amy’s passion for organic farming and beyond organic farming technology, her daughter Corinne and she are together realizing their dream, Taste the Organic.

Our vertical farming system is the cleanest, the eco-friendliest and beyond organic.

1. Plant organic seeds with special proprietary soil mixture.
2. We hydrate with a water-conservative irrigation system.
3. We monitor our microgreens as they take shape and grow.
4. We harvest our yield anywhere from 7 to 12 days after planting.
5. In our clean and contaminant-free indoor greenhouse, we package the green.
6. Ready to Eat:  No need to wash or ‘triple-wash’ our microgreens.

Taste the Organic saw the need for locally grown organic produce and beyond organic microgreens in the great Charlotte Metropolitan Area of North & South Carolina.  We are offering our microgreens to be purchased online, on our new website, and then delivered to your home, or will be adding local pickup locations within the Greater Charlotte Metropolitan area very soon.
